I'm sorry Professor, but are you positive you have graded the correct paper? When you sent back my copy of the term paper on Strepsiptera you seemed to be under the impression that I had spent a lot of time on this. In reality, I spent the day before it was due writing most of it, and finishing the night it was due. (Nicely, you gave a deadline of midnight.) Grand total of less than two days writing, and maybe the same spent on research. Yet, you liked my mature sentence structure and complete coverage all aspect of current research. Are you absolutely sure that you read the correct paper or have you attributed another student's work for my own? Because if you did like it, I'm afraid there is no hope for my procrastination tendencies. I shall attempt to do the same for my Herpetology term paper due on Wednesday. After I leisurely study for my lab final tomorrow.

There's nothing like sailing through on talent. I think I used to do that in grade school. Don't think I could pull it off in the classes you're taking. At all.
Happy belated birthday. Unless Thom was wishing you an early happy birthday. In which case, just regular happy birthday.
